I so enjoy wrapping my head around someone else’s aesthetic in the creation of a work of art...perhaps never more than when I created these pieces for the home of dear friends. My goal when creating art for someone’s home is that when finished, the piece should look as if it would never be as effective in any other space than the one it was created for. I love visiting these particular pieces often and am always pleased to find myself thinking, as I look at them, “Yes, these three could never live anywhere else!”
