Late February   (Not for sale)

acrylic on canvas 60” x 36”

By late February, I’m ready for summer. When it rains, I do my best to join in the chorus of “oh good...we need more rain this year” I hear all around me and tell myself that very soon my present precipitation suffering will result in the spring green that inspires feelings of the opposite kind. Embracing what I know to be true (rain = spring green) vs. succumbing to temporary feelings (rain = depressed June) is a lifelong work for me and applies to many other areas of my life as well. Thank goodness for the therapy of painting...it’s slightly cheaper than traditional therapy.
