Spring Again Dyptych SOLD
acrylic on canvas
I find great joy and meaning in both creating and viewing non-representational art. Working with the fundamentals of line, shape, contrast and most of all, color, makes me happy. My intent for this piece is to show both the measured, predictable aspect of Spring—it comes around every year, always after winter and before summer—as well as the less measured or mathematical aspects of it as seen and felt in things like the flurry of new leaves, rain showers, and the whole springtime process of thawing out and blooming again.
