Spring Crops
acrylic on canvas 12” x 48”
It’s always rather surreal to look down from an airplane window at fields of crops. Whenever I do this, I’m struck by the artistry and vastness of the image. I’m also struck by the unique mental perspective this experience provides—a farmer could be desperately struggling with failing crops but from the sky, they appear to be lovely geometric shapes of serene color. What a remarkable irony and commentary on the perspectives of life that is.
